Sondir is a static tool tip can be pressed directly into the ground without the need for drilling holes. It is very suitable in Indonesia because there are many layers of clay so that low power is not difficult to penetrate with this tool.
Sondir in practice to determine the extent of resistance against the load exerted on the ground. So by knowing the resistance and obstacles closely given by the ground, it can be planned for an above ground structure of the foundation.
